"Research" peptides (grey market)

What "research" peptides are, and why there's no legal, safe way to obtain them for human use.

Not approved · risky

What they are

Substances (e.g. BPC-157, TB-500) sold as "research chemicals".

Their benefits (recovery, anti-ageing) are reported only anecdotally and are not clinically proven.

The reality: no legal or safe channel

They are NOT approved for human use.

They're sold labelled "not for human use" precisely to get around the rules.

There's no legal, safe way to obtain them for consumption: buying or using them exposes you to health risks (contamination, infection, uncertain dosing) and legal consequences.

What to do instead

If you're after recovery or body recomposition, talk to a doctor and consider legal approaches: diet (including keto), training and — where indicated — approved prescription drugs.

Benefits

  • Benefits reported only anecdotally and NOT clinically proven

Drawbacks

  • Not approved or regulated for human use
  • Uncertain quality and dosage: risk of contamination and infection
  • No medical supervision
  • Often bought illegally and exposed to scams
  • Possible serious, unpredictable health risks
