GLP-1 drugs (Mounjaro, Ozempic…)

What GLP-1 drugs are, how they work and — above all — how to get them legally.

How they work

They mimic gut hormones (GLP-1, and GIP too for tirzepatide) that regulate hunger and blood sugar.

They slow stomach emptying and reduce appetite.

Examples: semaglutide (Ozempic/Wegovy), tirzepatide (Mounjaro).

How to get them (legally)

These are PRESCRIPTION-ONLY medicines: you can't just buy them.

The right path: 1) talk to your GP or a specialist (endocrinologist, obesity clinic); 2) medical assessment and clinical indication; 3) if appropriate, a prescription; 4) collect it from a pharmacy.

Alternatively, there are AUTHORISED telemedicine services with real doctors who assess and prescribe within the law.

When you can't (and shouldn't) get them

Without an assessment and prescription from a doctor.

Without a genuine clinical indication.

If you have contraindications (e.g. pregnancy/breastfeeding, certain conditions).

⚠️ Never buy them online from unauthorised sellers or "without a prescription": risk of counterfeiting, wrong dosages, health harm and illegality.

Where to find a doctor

See your GP, an endocrinologist or an obesity clinic.

Or an authorised telemedicine service (licensed doctors, legal prescription).
